🎉 The mendbuddy WordPress plugin is now available in beta! You can easily integrate your AI-powered Buddy into your WordPress site — no coding required. This plugin allows you to enable the mendbuddy chat widget in just a few clicks and start delivering instant support to your visitors.

⚙️ What You'll Need​

  • Access to your WordPress admin dashboard
  • Your mendbuddy Embed ID (found in your mendbuddy dashboard)
  • The latest version of the mendbuddy WordPress plugin

📥 How to Install the Plugin​

Follow these 5 simple steps to get your Buddy live on your WordPress site:

  1. Download the Plugin
    Click the Download Plugin (v1 Beta) button in the mendbuddy dashboard under WordPress. Download the Plugin

  2. Upload & Activate
    Go to your WordPress admin area and navigate to:
    Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
    Select the downloaded .zip file and click Install, then Activate. Install the Plugin

  3. Access Plugin Settings
    In the WordPress sidebar, go to:
    Settings → mendbuddy Chat Widget Settings > mendbuddy Chat Widget

  4. Enter Your Embed ID
    Copy your Embed ID from the mendbuddy dashboard and paste it into the field in WordPress. mendbuddy Embed ID

  5. Enable & Save
    Make sure the "Enable mendbuddy Widget" box is checked.
    Click Save Changes, and you're live! Settings > mendbuddy Chat Widget

🧠 Tip: You can find your Embed ID any time under WordPress in your mendbuddy dashboard.

💡 Troubleshooting​

  • Double-check that your Embed ID is correct and saved.
  • Clear your site's cache if you don't see the widget immediately.
  • Make sure your theme or other plugins aren't interfering with JavaScript.
