You can access this tool at:
Sources > Repair Pulse
This system works best when your data is well-structured and consistently named β giving Buddy everything it needs to quote confidently and correctly.
π Repair Pulse Columnsβ
The Repair Pulse spreadsheet includes the following columns:
Column | Purpose |
---|---|
Brand | The brand or manufacturer (e.g., Apple, Samsung, Google) |
Device Model | The specific model of the device (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro, Pixel 10) |
Repair Type | The type of repair offered (e.g., Battery, Rear Camera) |
Quality | The part quality tier (e.g., Original, Aftermarket, Aftermarket Incell) |
Price | The cost for this repair service (e.g., 160.00) |
Notes | Optional notes (e.g., special conditions, turnaround times) |
β οΈ Consistent Naming is Criticalβ
To help your Buddy deliver accurate responses, it's essential that you use consistent naming conventions across your data.
Here's what that means:
- β Always use the same spelling and capitalisation for brands (e.g., "Apple" not "apple").
- β Stick to a standard format for device models (e.g., "iPhone 13 Pro" not "iPhone13Pro").
- β Use consistent terms in the Quality field (e.g., if you use "Original", avoid switching to "OEM").
π Inconsistent naming may lead to confusing or incorrect Buddy responses.
We recommend reviewing your entries regularly and aligning with a set internal format or guide.
π οΈ How to Add & Edit Entriesβ
β Manually:β
- Enter each value in the appropriate fields.
- Use the + button to add it to the table.
- Hit Save to apply your changes.
π₯ Bulk Upload:β
To update or add multiple services at once:
- Click Download Template
- Edit it in your preferred spreadsheet tool
- Upload the completed file back into Repair Pulse
Buddy will immediately start using your updated data.
π§ Use Cases for Notesβ
The Notes column is optional but powerful β it can be used to include:
- Service-specific terms (e.g., "Water resistance may be affected")
- Timeframes (e.g., "Same-day repair if dropped off before 2PM")
- Stock notices (e.g., "Limited availability")
Notes give Buddy extra detail to enhance its responses, while keeping your main data clean.
β Best Practicesβ
- Use clear, customer-facing language (no internal jargon)
- Keep Repair Type names short but meaningful (e.g., "Screen Repair / Display Replacement" is fine)
- Format Prices as numbers only (e.g.,
160
,99.99
) - Keep Notes short and specific
π Keep It Freshβ
You can return to Repair Pulse at any time to:
- Add new devices or services
- Update pricing
- Remove discontinued services
Buddy will always use the latest saved version to respond to customer queries.
