⚙️ Settings

The Buddy Settings page is where you personalise how your Buddy responds to customers. This is your main control panel for setting up Buddy to reflect your services and processes.

You don't need to worry about technical terms — just answer the questions provided in each section and Buddy will adapt its behaviour accordingly.

🧭 Where to Access It​

To access the settings:

  1. Go to the Buddy section in your dashboard.
  2. Select the Buddy you'd like to configure.
  3. Click Settings.

This will open a page where you can edit your Buddy's responses and service information.

🧠 What This Page Does​

The Buddy Settings page asks you a range of simple, service-based questions. These answers shape how Buddy behaves — what it says, how it helps, and what information it shares with your customers.

Think of this as teaching Buddy about how your business works. The better the answers, the more helpful and on-brand Buddy will be.

🔧 Setting Types​

Settings are organised into three sections. You'll only see questions related to the services your Buddy is set up to handle.

🛠️ Repair Service Settings​

Covers everything Buddy needs to know about your repair process — like payment options, warranties, service availability, and more.

🔁 Buyback Service Settings​

Lets you define how customers can send or bring in their devices, and how you pay them once the buyback is complete.

🛍️ Product Sales Settings​

Includes all the information Buddy needs to help with product enquiries — such as accepted payment methods, shipping locations, and product warranties.

📝 Make Changes Anytime​

You can return to Buddy > Settings at any time to update your answers. Your Buddy will automatically adapt its behaviour based on your changes — no need to restart or reconfigure anything.
