Welcome to mendbuddy's Text Files section! Here, you can upload plain text files that our AI assistant, Buddy, will use to provide you with accurate and relevant answers. This guide outlines the supported text file formats and best practices to ensure Buddy can effectively utilize the content.

📁 Supported Text File Formats​

Buddy can process a variety of text-based file formats, including:

  • Plain Text Files (.txt)
  • Markdown Files (.md)
  • Rich Text Format (.rtf)
  • Code Files (.py, .js, .java, etc.)

Note: Buddy is designed to extract and read textual content. Files that contain primarily images or non-textual data may not be processed effectively.

After uploading, your text files are stored securely within mendbuddy. You can:

  • Add – Upload new text files for Buddy to reference.

  • Delete – Remove files that are no longer relevant.

⚠️ Note: Once uploaded, the content of the text files is processed and stored. If you need to review or edit the content, please ensure you have a local copy of the original file.
